Neither my wife nor I are professional athletes or models. It just so happens that we are in shape enough year-round that we can do fitness competitions and photo shoots from time-to-time.
But don't let that scare you off — we're not whacked out fitness people. We understand the demands and obstacles of being busy professionals.
I make my living hustling through 60+ hour workweeks as a writer, trainer, speaker, and consultant to health and wellness companies and fitness start-ups. I've been featured in Men's Health, Muscle & Fitness, T-Nation, and Bodybuilding.com. Kalai has a master's degree in Psychology and a career in higher education; for her, fitness is a hobby that keeps her healthy.
We don’t have the luxury of eating meals on the hour, every hour, or doing 18 hours of cardio a day just to get in shape. Of course, none of that is necessary anyway.
Oh yeah, neither of us take steroids, estrogen blockers, thyroid hormones, pop fat burners all day, are in our 20's, or have great genetics. In fact, when this hits the market Kalai will be nearing 40 years of age with exceptional health markers after overcoming personal weight issues and genetic predisposition to a number of health conditions.
Me? I have the maturity level of a teenager, but I'm actually in my mid-30's. They used to call me Baby Sumo, and my genetic predisposition as an adult is the worst of the worst — The Skinny-Fat Guy with a family history of just about every health problem you can have.
We've had to use science and strategy to overcome these obstacles. You can follow genetically gifted or drug-enhanced athletes, or you can learn a thing or two from people who are more like you, and have had to struggle to find an effective approach.
In addition, I've spent the last 12 years advising people in the real world. I've worked with a few professional athletes and sports teams, but the majority of my clients have been busy, working professionals — just like you — that want to improve their health and get in better shape.
And sure, every once in awhile, they want to look good in a bikini, board shorts, man-thong, or naked (hey now) on their summer vacation.
Most importantly, I'm honest. I'd like to tell you that I'm a saint, and creating this system was all for you, out of the goodness of my heart. But the truth is I'm a vain, selfish piece of junk.
I'm personally obsessed with physique enhancement, and have dedicated my life and career to researching, studying, testing, and refining various approaches to obliterating body fat.
I wanted to create a functional fat loss system that would allow ME to be in shape year-round while living the life of a busy professional.
Despite my selfishness, I've managed to help a few people along the way. We hope it will help you too.
